Nine &1/2 and Q-Balls were The Hares

The large mob of eager hashers was asked complicated questions like, "Who doesn't not want salt on their baked potatoes?". Hands went up at random, but the inquisitors seemed satisfied.
The assistant hares were lost from the start as they took the slippery stair route that was intended to cripple the runners. They almost succeeded in Playaway's case but his tumble was brushed off like the mud on his arse.
At the sewage farm there was confusion when the runners missed an obvious check. Luckily the robust Playaway found the right route leaving Kingfisher & Keeps it Up in a field with no exit. Undaunted they ran on, the wrong side of a slime filled ditch. With a great deal of luck and a huge detour they joined the rest in time for the siege of Camber Castle.

After some pyrotechnics and a little beer the siege was unsuccessful and the run was continued. There was a wicked backcheck for the front runners as there should be. The route as a whole was well marked and conceived by Q Balls &9 1/2.

Mud Wrestler and Puss in Boots were cited at the Down-Downs for getting lost at the start. Vivienne from Camber was introduced and Frontloader had to drink a beer for some nefarious deed that escapes me.
